Shannon’s stunning bridal hair.
There is something exciting when the hair turns out exactly (if not better) than the vision.
The last photo was Shannon’s trial in April. Her hair was nice, but we knew it wasn’t how we wanted it for her wedding day. Although her hair was thick with some natural volume, her ends felt stringy and had breakage in them, even though her hair was healthy. It wasn’t the fullness she wanted.
In one month she did the work to get her #dreamhair - she realized her shampoo wasn’t working for her hair so she switched it, got a trim, switched her clip and opted for a few rows of clip-in extensions to fill the gaps at the bottom. I switched the tool I used to curl. I Immediately noticed a difference in her hair when I saw her and was so happy she committed to hair health for her wedding (which will benefit her going forward too).
Both the trial and wedding day styles took the same amount of time to do.

One thing about proms is we have fun with makeup. We went a bit more dramatic on the glam for Milani’s prom with a smoked out wing and pulled most of her hair off of her face to show it off.

After trying a bit more foundation at her bridal consult she decided ultimately she wanted her skin to look as close to her actual skin as possible, using minimal foundation but still concealing any imperfections. We kept the emphasis on her eyes with some pretty shimmers and natural-looking individual lashes. Overall she looks gorgeous!

Review time!
Tara was a fairly last-minute booking. Unfortunately she has issues with her previously booked hairstylist and reached out asking if I could step in. Absolutely.
Her hair was severely damaged from bleach but she took the necessary steps to treat her hair and eventually decided extensions would be the best course to give her the hairstyle she wanted.
Her group was fun, energetic and so sweet even at 4am!
I was so happy I could take her vision and bring it to life for her.
