We primarily offer in-home and on-site hairstyling and makeup application services. Bridal hairstyling and makeup trial appointments take place at my home in Vaughan, ON (a travel fee applies for mobile bridal trials).

Travel fees are dependent on appointment location. Our home-base is located in Vaughan so no travel fee applies to the area (and most surrounding areas).

Absolutely – we have a large team of professional and highly talented artists and stylists that can service all group sizes including groups at multiple locations. 

No, we want you to feel completely comfortable with our services so you are not obligated to book both hair and makeup services with our team. We are happy to work with other artists and stylists and provide either hair or makeup. 

Absolutely not! On-site and in-home hairstyling and makeup services are available for all occasions throughout the week and weekend. Whether it be a family photo shoot or Bat Mitzvah, trust our professional team to enhance your favourite features have you looking and feeling your best. 

It typically takes about 45 minutes per service on average (1.5 hours for hair and makeup combined).

Although hair and makeup looks are set to last the entire day, touchups are available for the bride, bridal party and anyone else who had their hair/makeup done by us. An artist can either meet you at your photo location or reception venue for touchups. Nothing! Although, inspirational photos of looks you like and a button up/zippered shirt or a wide-neck top are great items to bring.

If you have any hair pieces or accessories you want us to incorporate, hair extensions, or a favourite lipstick you want to wear please bring them with you and we’re happy to work with them as long as they are clean and in good condition.

We work with a variety of top industry brands that have personally been tested. We don’t keep anything we don’t 100% stand behind. Charlotte Tilbury, Make Up For Ever, Tarte, Too Faced, NARS, Laura Mercier, and Mac Cosmetics are just some of the brands stocked in our makeup kits. Hairstyling kits include OSIS+, Bumble and Bumble, Joico, Color Wow, and Moroccainoil to name aa few.

You can definitely do your own hair and makeup for your own wedding! However, with the busyness and excitement of the day, many women find they’re not able to focus well enough to do their hair/makeup to the level they want and prefer to have a professional execute their vision for them. A professional HMUA will also have knowledge on styling for professional cameras and flashes – and ensure that you look just as beautiful in photos as you do in person. Plus, who doesn’t love a little pampering?

I understand that the months leading up to a wedding can be extremely busy. Bridal hair and makeup trials are completely optional but are recommend for brides who may not be fully set on hair/makeup look. A trial gives us the chance to meet, discuss your bridal beauty vision and customize a look perfect for your special day. It also gives you the chance to try out the look before hand and see if it’s right for you.

I love bridal trials! The goal of the hair and/or trial is to determine your bridal beauty style. Together we’ll look at your inspirational photos, your dress and discuss your overall vision for your wedding. I’m happy to make suggestions and tweaks based on your hair and skin type so that the style is unique to you and your wedding day. You also receive a full hairstyle/makeup application. After the trial I send you an email with a few digital photos of the final look and a breakdown of what we discussed and any tweaks/changes we decided to make. This makes getting you ready on your wedding day stress-free (for everyone)!

Bridal hair and makeup trial pricing is based on a single hair and/or makeup look. You will have the opportunities to make tweaks/changes to the look, but if you would like to try alternative looks an a additional charge will apply as extra time will be scheduled. 

If you are unsure of whether our services are right for you then I recommend scheduling your trial prior to securing your wedding day services. If you want to schedule your hair and/or trial after you secure your wedding day services than I recommend scheduling it on a day where you will be able to wear the look for the whole day (to see how it wears) or on a day you have a dress fitting scheduled since this will give you can idea of whether you love your full bridal look. 

In order to confirm your booking I ask for a booking agreement to be signed along with a paid non-refundable retainer. These only confirm the appointment date and approximate timing – you are still welcome to change service numbers up to a couple of weeks before the appointment without any penalties, unless minimums apply.

You can put a tentative hold on a date without commitment for up to 7 days but bookings are only confirmed once a deposit and signed booking agreement are received. In the event you have a date on hold (without commitment) and another client wants to book you will have a 24-hour right-of-first-refusal to either confirm the date or release the hold.

There is a 4-adult-service minimum for Saturday bookings during busier months (April through October) although some exceptions may apply. For Fridays and Sundays there is a 2-service minimum for on-site/in-home appointments. There is no minimum for weekday appointments. 

Your final details and service numbers are due two weeks before your wedding date. Should your service numbers decrease after this time I kindly ask that you find an alternative person to take on that service spot. 

I recommend booking any vendor as soon as you know they’re the right vendor for you. Brides are securing their hair and makeup artists as early as 12-18 months in advance so the earlier you book the more likely your date will be available. Dates are only held with a signed booking agreement and paid retainer.
